Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.

Do you really make all of this yourself?

Yes! Every earring, bracelet, necklace, and holiday ornament is handwoven, one ring at a time with my own two hands. No pre-made chain is used.

What materials do you use?

I use aluminum and anodized aluminum almost exclusively; occasionally some enameled copper or bronze will sneak in. Aluminum is very lightweight, will never tarnish, and is recyclable should you ever decide you don't want your piece (though if that happened I would hope that you'd at least pass it along to a friend. :) )

What is anodized aluminum?

Anodized aluminum starts out as regular, silver-colored aluminum. The rings, after they're cut, are dipped into an electrically charged chemical solution and then dyed, giving them brilliant and shiny color.

How should I care for my piece?

Aluminum is very easy to care for -- if it needs to be cleaned, you can use dish soap (choose one that does not contain lotion) and warm water. Never use polishing creams or abrasive cloths on my colored pieces, as this can remove color from the rings.

Can I get one of your pieces in a different color, size, or length?

Yes! I love custom orders and am happy to work with you to create the perfect piece. I can lengthen or shorten most pieces up to 2 inches in either direction at no charge. If you need it lengthened more than that, a small extra charge may apply to cover my materials costs. There may be a delay in shipping if your request involves materials that I don't happen to have on hand at the moment but I will always let you know of any such delays in advance.
